Text Pixaroma

A multi-line text box with a single text output. Type once, wire it into as many nodes as you like.

In ComfyUI: double-click an empty spot on the canvas and type Text Pixaroma.

The text box

Type any text or prompt here and it comes out the text output. The box grows with the node - drag the bottom-right corner to make it bigger. Press Ctrl+Enter to run the workflow without leaving the box, and select some words then press Ctrl+Up or Ctrl+Down to raise or lower their weight, for example (red hair:1.1).

Tip: to RECEIVE text from another node instead of typing, use Show Text Pixaroma - this node is for typing.

Buttons

Copy all
Copy everything in the box to your clipboard.
Replace
Paste over the whole box with text from your clipboard. An image or empty clipboard is ignored, so you can't wipe your text by accident.
Clear
Empty the box instantly.

Dynamic prompts switch

Off by default. It decides whether curly braces are treated as a random-pick instruction.

Leave it OFF for normal text and JSON: everything you type is sent exactly as-is, every { and } kept.

Turn it ON to use wildcards:

  • {red|blue|green} picks one option at random every time you run.
  • Nest them freely, e.g. a {big|small} {cat|dog}.
  • Use \{ and \} when you want a real brace while the switch is on.
  • Comments are removed when on: // to the end of a line, and /* ... */ blocks.

What the switch does to your text

Editing JSON? Keep it OFF

With the switch ON, every { and } is eaten and anything after // (like a URL) is stripped - that is the wildcard feature working as designed, not a bug. So for JSON prompts, or any text where braces matter, leave the switch OFF (its default).

The settings on the node

texttext
The text to output. Supports multiple lines. Sent exactly as typed unless the Dynamic prompts switch is on - then {a|b} picks one at random each queue and // /* */ comments are stripped.

What comes out

textSTRING
The text from the field, with {a|b} dynamic prompts resolved if the Dynamic prompts switch is on (otherwise sent exactly as typed).

This is the help that comes with Pixaroma 1.4.212. Inside ComfyUI, select the node and click the orange ? above it to read the same help there.
